November marks Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and it serves as a crucial reminder that radon is the primary cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. Also, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Children are twice as susceptible to the negative impacts of radon than adults. Current and former smokers are ten times more susceptible. Children exposed to second-hand smoke are 20 time more susceptible to radon.
