The NC State Healthy Homes Program is directed by Dr. Sarah Kirby, Professor and Housing Specialist with NC State Extension. The purpose of the program is to address housing-related hazards and risks that can result in injury and disease.

The NC State Extension Healthy Homes Program is part of the nationwide Healthy Homes Partnership. This partnership is between USDA, NIFA, state and land grant universities, and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
